McCay (nee Brady), of Marlton, NJ, passed away December 9, 2020 at the age of 82. Loving daughter of the late Arthur J. Brady and the late Mary C. Brady (nee Hayes). Devoted wife of the late Harold McCay who predeceased her in 2011. Beloved mother of A. William McCay (Doreen), Maureen DeLio (John), Colleen McCay-Krebs (Michael), Kathleen McCay-Carabasi, and Eileen McCay-Propp (Brian). Proud grandmother of Haley, Rachel, Stephanie (Julian), Thomas, Jessica, John, Daniel (Nikki), Michael, Meghan, Joseph, Christian, and Morgan; great-grandmother of Julian, Jr., Juel, James, Jordan, Sophia, and William Harold. Dear sister of the late John E. Brady and the late Michael “Mickey” Brady. Maureen was a proud graduate of Hallahan High School, Philadelphia, PA., maintaining a remarkably close friendship with a group of girls from Hallahan High for over forty years. She was a devout Elvis Presley fan and loved to dance; and even appeared on American bandstand doing the Bristol Stomp. She was a highly active member of St. Joan of Arc Parish, Marlton, NJ, where she volunteered for the marriage encounter program, as well as numerous other church activities. She enjoyed traveling with Harold to their house in the Poconos, as well as, the Weston Priory in Ludlow Vermont and Branson, Missouri. They were often accompanied on their trips by their dear friends from St. Joan of Arc Parish, as they were an integral part of their lives. Her hair was always a top priority, seeing the same stylist for over forty years. Only he could color, cut and style her hair to her perfection. Her love for her grandchildren was indescribable and Christmas was her favorite holiday to spoil them. Her great-grandchildren completed her life, seeing the love she and Harold had for each other continue to blossom for generations. Above all, she was a caretaker to numerous family members, always welcoming them into her home and caring for them as best she could. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends, all of whom she loved so dearly. Viewing will be Thursday, December 17, 2020 from 10:15 AM to 11:15 AM at Our Lady of Hope Parish/ St. Agnes Church, 701 Little Gloucester Road, Blackwood, NJ, 08012, where her Funeral Mass will begin at 11:30 AM. Facial masks and social distancing will be required at all times. Interment with her late husband at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Berlin, NJ, will immediately follow.
