Kimberly Diane McCord Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Kimberly McCord (nee Ashburn), of Runnemede, NJ, passed away peacefully at home with her husband by her side on March 16, 2022, at the age of 72 years. Treasured daughter of Vivian Platt-Ashburn, of Pitman, NJ, and the late William Ashburn, Jr. Devoted wife of Robert McCord. Beloved mother of Susan Hall and Jennifer Gutierrev. Proud grandmother of Alexander Gutierrev. Kaitlin Hall, and Sofia Gutierrev. Dear sister of Lisa Winn (James). She is also survived by many step-children, grandchildren, and her beloved dog, Seamus. Kimberly worked for many years as an orthopedics nurse for Kennedy Hospital (now Jefferson), in Washington Twp., NJ. She was a life member of the Glendora VFW Post # 8714 Ladies’ Aux., a member of the Stetser-Lamartine American Legion Post #281 Ladies’ Aux, an aux. member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, and a member of the Camden County Emerald Society. Kimberly was also very active in the Special Olympics, often cooking for their events, and participated in the Polar Bear Plunge. Urn visitation will be Wednesday, March 23, 2022, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Earle Funeral Home, 122 W. Church St., Blackwood, NJ 08012, where a family eulogy will begin at 8:00 PM.
