John R. Szymanski

John R. Szymanski of Buena, NJ passed away at home on Dec. 20, 2019 at the age of 71 yrs. Dear son of the late Stanley and Anna Szymanski (nee Shemeley). Loving father of John S. Szymanski (Anna), Laureen Redlund (Michael), and Tiffani Price. Dear brother of William Szymanski (Janice), and grandfather of Laurente Briggs, Jr. John was predeceased by six other siblings, Stanley (Sonny) Szymanski, Edward Szymanski, Cecelia Wescott, Ethel Lynch Ball, Barbara Hines Morris, and Evelyn Edgerly Giancaterino. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. John was avid Philadelphia Phillies fan, especially in his younger years but later evolved into a quiet, unassuming, self-educated scholar, who spent many hours at the library doing research on those things which were of interest to him. He also enjoyed completing jigsaw puzzles, and much of his life was a truck driver, most recently employed by Southern Sand and Gravel of Williamstown, NJ. Visitation for family and friends will be Saturday, Dec. 28th, 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM, with a memorial service to follow at 4:00 PM, at Earle Funeral Home, 122 W. Church St., Blackwood, NJ 08012.
