Janet C. McLaughlin

January 24, 1935 - April 25, 2022

Janet C. McLaughlin (nee Jillard) of Blackwood Terrace, NJ, passed away April 25, 2022, at the age of 87 years. Devoted wife of the late Thomas E. McLaughlin, Jr., who predeceased her in 2013. Beloved mother of Thomas E. McLaughlin III of Turnersville, NJ, Kathleen M. Umba (Chuck), of West Deptford, NJ, Paul W. McLaughlin (Toni) of Deptford, NJ, and the late Karen A. McLaughlin. Proud grandmother of Thomas IV, Ryan, Brandon (Dana), Matthew (Gabriella), Nicole, Jacob, the late Joseph, Shane, and Colin; great-grandmother of Lillyana and Brynlee. Dear sister of William Jillard (Pat) of Brookhaven, PA. Janet worked for twenty-five years as a retail clerk at Strawbridge and Clothier. She liked spending time down the shore in Sea Isle and enjoyed over thirty-five years of summering with her treasure family and friends at Seashore Line Campground. Janet loved and adored her family and often sat back and marveled at how incredibly lucky she was to have such a tight-knit and loving family. She maintained a strong relationship with each and every one of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by the family she held so dear and the friends she cherished. Viewing will be Friday, April 29, 2022, from 9:45 to 10:45 AM at St. John Vianney Church / Infant Jesus Parish, 2901 Good Intent Road, Blackwood Terrace, NJ 08096, where her Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 AM. Interment with her late husband and late daughter will immediately follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Chews Landing, NJ.
