Frank R. Viola, age 90, of Monroeville, NJ, formerly a long-time resident of Blackwood, NJ since 1955, passed away peacefully at home on Jan. 4, 2019. Devoted husband of Rita Viola (nee DeBellis) for 64 years; beloved father of Suzann Brower (Raymond) of Buena, NJ, Kenneth Viola of Erial, NJ, Joyce Kelly (Joseph) of Mantua, NJ, and Deborah Viola-Brinker of Blackwood, NJ; proud grandfather of Michelle Brower-Taylor (Jarrod), Michael Brower (Nicole), Gregory F. Kelly, Geoffrey J. Kelly, Samantha Brinker, and Zachary Brinker. He is also survived by 3 brothers, 5 sisters, and numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Frank was originally one of 14 siblings. Frank was born in Philadelphia on March 27, 1928, son of the late Carmen and Theresa Viola. He served in the Korean War with the U.S. Army, and was a loving husband and father. He had a long successful career as a welder, working with numerous companies and union shops in the South Jersey and Philadelphia area. He was dearly loved and will be sadly missed. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 9th, 10:00 AM -11:00 AM at Earle Funeral Home, 122 W. Church St., Blackwood, NJ 08012, where a Catholic prayer service will begin at 11:00 AM.
