Elizabeth "Betty" Hertler

Elizabeth “Betty” Hertler, lifelong resident of Sicklerville, NJ, passed away peacefully May 2, 2022, at the age of 79 years. Loving daughter of the late Ernest Hertler and the late Elizabeth Hertler(nee Jagoditz). Beloved sister of Barbara Goodwin (the late Joe) of Pollok, TX, Rose Crisanti (the late Paul) of Sebastian, FL, the late Ernest Hertler (Barbara, of Sicklerville, NJ, surviving), Richard Hertler of Sicklerville, NJ, Albert Hertler of Pine Hill, NJ, and Teri Hertler of Gloucester, NJ. Dear aunt of Barbara Jo, Betty Jane, Paul (Elena), Barbara (Doug), Joe (Lori), Debi, Meredith (Jim), and Janette (Larry); great-aunt of Veronica (Ken), Paul, Christopher, Jeffrey, Benjamin, Ryan, Amanda, Brianna, Andrew (Tony), Justice, Hannah, Noah, Tristan, Lydia, Nadia, Katrina, Julianna, Jocelyn, and Lukas. She is also survived by her former sister-in-law, Margie Hertler. Betty worked at Mrs. Paul’s Frozen Foods in Winslow, NJ from 1962 to 1982, first, as an assembly line employee and later in quality control. She then worked at Kellogg's Foods in Winslow until her retirement. Betty enjoyed a simplistic life maintaining the family home alongside her brother, Richard. She loved spending time with family and attending family events and celebrations. Rides down to the shore and dinners out were some of her favorite past times. Betty also loved many pets throughout the years. Most recently her dog, Buddy, and her cat, Sabrina. Betty will be dearly missed by loved ones near and far. Viewing will be Saturday, May 7, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Earle Funeral Home, 122 W. Church St., Blackwood, NJ 08012, where her prayer service will begin at 11:00 AM.
