David Grant Gerberich

August 4, 1981 - May 11, 2020

David Grant Gerberich, of Sicklerville, NJ, passed from this life into the next on Monday, May 11, 2020 at the age of 38 years. He was a loving husband to Rachel and devoted father to Penelope, a beloved son to Bill and Deb Gerberich, a faithful brother to Amy (Ryan), a happy and fun uncle to Caleb, Claire, and Emmy, and the most loyal friend to so many. David had a large extended family who loved him dearly. He lived a life full of love and devotion for his friends, family and his Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ. His dream to be all of those things was fulfilled throughout his lifetime, and he left a legacy in his beautiful daughter. David dedicated his life to the Lord at his pastor’s house when he was seven. He was an Eagle scout, and loved camping and the outdoors. David graduated with honors from Cherokee High School and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Stockton University, which led him to his position as a Client Success Manager at Atrixware Learning Solutions. David was dedicated to helping the youth at his church, and doing life with his community group. He cherished his long talks with his mom and sister, and working on home improvement projects with his Dad and brother-in-law. An avid sports fan, you would frequently see David cheering the Flyers, Broncos and Eagles towards a win, playing frisbee golf on the weekends, or grilling burgers with a craft beer in his hand in the backyard between games of corn hole. A devoted girl-dad, he treasured family movie nights, princess tea parties, and dancing in the kitchen to Disney songs. He ended every day by being ‘tucked in’ by Penny as she sang and prayed with him. He lived a life of service, loyalty and love, and will be passionately missed by all who knew him. “They that wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31 David’s life will be celebrated privately by his family due to the COVID-19 healthcare crisis. The virtual service will be streamed via Zoom. For those who cannot stream the service, a recording will be available upon request.
