Charles "Chuck" J. McNally

April 26, 1930 - January 22, 2022

Charles “Chuck” J. McNally, of Somerdale, NJ, passed away January 22, 2022, at the age of 91 years. Son of the late Robert McNally and the late Mary McNally (nee Gittings). Devoted father of Marie Daniels and Anne Tratta. Beloved grandfather of Lois Crudele, the late Jay Crudele, Thomas Tratta, Jennifer Murphy (Mark), and Christopher Crudele; great-grandfather of Keith Crudele, Steven Harper III, Jeremiah Owen, the late Jacob Crudele, Gwendolynn Murphy, Andrew Mellon, Jadyn Crudele, and Maddie Crudele; great-great-grandfather of Steven Harper IV, Julianna Crudele, and Nora Crudele. Dear brother of the late Robert McNally and the late Elizabeth Deery. Chuck served his Country as a United States Marine during the Korean War. Chuck held many jobs in his long work life. He loved to putter...working outdoors on a riding mower, spreading mulch and stone, building outdoor furniture, etc. in maintenance jobs at high schools and nursing homes. He also had experience in tool and die, security work and selling real estate. When he retired to Florida he continued to work in security and maintenance positions in retirement homes and country clubs,and creating home decoration projects in his spare time to house his enormous shell collection. Then a move to the Carolinas brought a home for him to renovate.. (which he continuously worked on ) and a huge yard to keep up with and his very own freestanding bunk house/ workshop. He enjoyed himself so much he started a house flipping company in his 70’s. Chuck was a very strong person with a “do it my way” stubborn streak. He was a loving people person , always with a smile , a handshake and a joke to tell. Inurnment at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ, will be held Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at 1:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Chuck’s memory to the Voorhees Animal Welfare Association, 509 Centennial Blvd., Voorhees, NJ 08043 or to Homeward Bound Pet Adoption Center, P.O.
