Catherine M. Mazza (nee Fecca), of Erial, NJ, passed away January 17, 2022, at the age of 95 years. Devoted wife of the late Anthony D. Mazza, Sr. Beloved mother of Nancy DiGregorio (John) of Voorhees, NJ, Valerie Ward (David) of Blackwood, NJ, Karen Flinn (George) of Sewell, NJ, Anthony D. Mazza, Jr. (Theresa) of Blackwood, NJ, and Roma Chinappi (Scott) of Erial, NJ. Proud grandmother of Tara Russen (Eric), Jason Flinn (Catherine), Amanda Flinn (Jack), Gregory Donzuso (Ashlie), Joshua Ward (Amanda), Zachery Ward (Chelsea), Anthony D. Mazza, III (Samantha), and Dylan Chinappi; great-grandmother of Kaylee, Leah, Thomas, Samantha, Ava, Madison, Landon, Matthew, and Lily. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Catherine was a strong and extremely resilient women, losing her husband at a young age, and raising her children on her own. Her first priority was always being a mother, and she devoted her entire life to her five children. She cherished spending time with her grandchildren, and great grandchildren. When Catherine was young she loved spending summers at the beach, and although she never stepped foot in the ocean she was a true beach bunny. She spent much of her time cooking and always made the best meals for everyone. She loved playing POKENO with ferocity, especially when she was on a winning streak, doing word searches, and watching any game shows on television (even if they were 50 years old). Catherine was a devout Catholic and never missed watching her daily Mass. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Viewing will be Saturday, January 22, 2022, from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM at Earle Funeral Home, 122 W. Church Street, Blackwood, NJ 08012. Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Hope Parish / St. Jude’s Church, 402 S. Black Horse Pike, Blackwood, NJ 08012.
