Bruce C. Kaercher, Jr.

Bruce C. Kaercher, Jr., of Marlton, NJ, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on April 5, 2022, after an incredible 10-year fight against brain cancer. Born in 1957, Bruce was the treasured son of the late Bruce C. Kaercher, Sr. and the late Kathleen Kaercher (nee Jones); beloved husband of Kathleen Kaercher (nee Bowley); devoted father of Cori Rock (Michael), Chrissy Kaercher, and Alison Kaercher; and proud grandfather of Liam Cave, Xander Mazzagatti, and Charlotte Rock. Bruce is survived by his brothers Brian Kaercher and Dave Kaercher (Nichole), his sisters Eileen Kaelin-Jackson (James) and Jen Lawrence (Ken), and also by many loving nieces and nephews. Bruce was a graduate of Temple University and held a bachelor's degree in finance/accounting. He recently celebrated his 25th anniversary as a Free and Accepted Mason, Maple Shade-Moorestown Masonic Lodge # 281 F & AM. Bruce was incredibly active and enjoyed being outdoors whenever he could. He enjoyed camping, hiking, woodworking, and canoeing. Bruce was also an accomplished runner and competed in countless marathons for various charities over the years. Amongst all his physical pursuits, he also achieved the honor of black belt in karate. Bruce was incredibly passionate about being a part of the National Brain Tumor Society and made sure to attend the Race for Hope meetings every Thursday no matter what. He enjoyed traveling and snorkeling with his family and making memories. Bruce was a tremendous husband, father, and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Relatives and friends are invited to a Life Celebration honoring both Bruce and his late mother Kathleen, on Saturday, April 16, 2022, from 12-1 PM, followed by a time of sharing at 1PM at Boyd-Horrox-Givnish Funeral Home, 200 W. Germantown Pike, Norristown, PA 19401. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the National Brain Tumor Society at www.braintumor.org/donate .
