| Obituary: |
Garry Aichroth of Blackwood, NJ, a community activist, sports enthusiast, and USMC Vietnam Veteran, passed away on Dec. 21, 2012 at the age of 60 years. Loving husband of Lena (nee Prudente). Devoted father of Sandra Abate (D.J.), Garry V., Brooke, and JoAnn. Proud grandfather of Domenic and Vienna. He is also survived by numerous cousins and in-laws.
Garry was a beloved GM at HCSC Corp, Camden, NJ, where he worked with community leaders to find jobs for the unemployed. He enjoyed many years serving as an umpire and coach throughout South Jersey. He was also a proud member of Holy Crusaders Council 9193 K of C.
Viewing will be Thursday, Dec. 27th, 10:15 AM – 12:15 PM at Our Lady of Hope Parish/St. Agnes Church (CHAPEL), 701 Little Gloucester Rd., Blackwood, NJ, where his Funeral Mass will follow at 12:30 PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions would be appreciated to Paralyzed Veterans of America, 5000 Wissahickon Ave., Phila. PA 19144.
