Obituary:
Nicholas P. Moffa “Nick” of Deptford, NJ passed away on Sept. 14th, 2012 at the age of 53 yrs. Beloved son of Michael C. Moffa and the late Deborah B. Moffa (nee Barnes). Dear brother of Michael Moffa of Williamstown, NJ, Christopher Moffa (Elizabeth) of Williamstown, NJ, and Henry Moffa (Anita) of Deptford, NJ. Loving uncle of Michael, Jonathan, Anthony, Christen, Ashley, Carly, and Chelsea. Nick is also survived by many close cousins and dear friends, and will be missed by all.
Nick was a special education teacher at Triton Reg. High School for many years, retiring in 2007. He was a long time faithful Parishioner of Infant Jesus Parish/St. John Vianney Church, where he currently served as a member of Parish Council, Eucharistic Minister, member of the Comforting Ministry Committee, and 4th Degree Member of Knights of Columbus Council # 13259. He also served as Past President of the St. Vincent De Paul Society of the Parish, was a volunteer for the Parish Food Bank, served as head of the Special Events Committee, and always took charge of organizing the festivities for The Feast Day of St. John Vianney.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Sept. 18th 9:30 – 11:00 AM at Infant Jesus Parish/St. John Vianney Church, 2901 Good Intent Rd., Deptford, NJ 08096, where his Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 AM. Entombment, St. Joseph’s Cemetery Mausoleum, Chews Landing, NJ. The family would appreciate contributions to Infant Jesus Parish/St. John Vianney Church.
