Helen M. Burns (nee Mickel) of Blackwood, NJ died on March 1, 2010 at the age of 85 years. Beloved wife of 50 years to Richard “Bobby” Burns. She is also survived by her sister-in-law June Mickel of Chews Landing, NJ, and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Burns was a retiree of Bell Telephone with 42 years of service, and a member of the Pioneers of America, Vineland, NJ.
Viewing will be Saturday 9:00 – 10:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church of Blackwood, 21 E. Church St., Blackwood, NJ 08012. Funeral services will follow at 10:00 AM also at the Church. Interment will take place at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Cemetery, Washington Twp., NJ. In lieu of flowers, contributions would be appreciated to the Church building fund at the address above.
